Jeanette Metzger-Thorp has lived in Los Alamos since 1965. She is married to Donald Thorp who is the packaging and transportation program manager at LANL. She got her real estate license in 1990 and has been doing real estate ever since. At different times in her career she has owned her own company with 21 agents and employees, Pajarito and Prudential Real Estate. She is two times past president of LAAOR. She has served on state level committees and boards for RANM, YMCA, Chamber of Commerce, Casa Esperanza, Lassie League and Little League. She was one of the original founders for the Relay for Life committee and served on their board for 5 years. She’s past president of the LAWGA and still plays golf when she has the time. A two-time cancer survivor doesn’t slow her down. She recently purchased CURVES of Los Alamos, a nationally known fitness center.
